In 2020, after witnessing the senseless murder of George Floyd, I felt compelled to create
something in order to make a difference. I decided to spread awareness through my art, so
I designed this illustration and encouraged people to share the image so this never happens
to another human being again. Believe it or not, it made it all the way to some of his family
members, who reached out to me and asked to make shirts for the funeral in Houston, TX.
The original art is part of the permanent collection at the Sigal museum in Easton, PA. I'm
proud to say the image continues to be used all over the country as a way to further the
conversation about race in the United States. The time is now to heal and learn from this tragic
event in our nation's history.
Let's work together to combat social injustice, spread love & Make Hate Fade!
